CAMPAIGN AGAINST DRUGS

 Today our school launched a campaign against drugs. In this campaign a lady was participating. At first she made the students tell about their views about drugs where 2 boys and 2 girls participated .They told their views about drugs to everyone. Then the   lady told us that drug is a chemical substance which brings physical, mental and social changes in human being.

Generally teenagers and youngsters falls on the addiction of drugs, then they steal their parents, neighbours and society members money and valuable things to buy drugs.They no more can understand difference between good and bad. She  said  the causes of falling in drugs addiction  are:-

• Peer pressure,
•  Lack of cordial environment in family,
•  Feeling of loneliness,
•  Wrong role model,
•  Excessive freedom ,etc

These are the causes of drugs addiction. She also said the harmful   effects of drugs. The main effects of drugs are:-

•   Loss of health, dignity, wealth and manpower
•      Increase in the crime,
•      Loss of faith from family and society etc.

The main examples of drugs are:-

•      Brown sugar
•      Cocaine
•      Heroin
•      Hemp
•      Cigarette
•      Alcohol etc.

She also said the control measures of drugs addiction:-

•    Sending the addicted person in rehabilitation centers
•    Providing warm and cordial environment in family and society
•    Right role model should be chosen
•    Excessive freedom shouldn’t be given

    

In conclusion, drugs only have negative effects in our body . Life is short so we should utilize it properly than wasting it on drugs .So we should stay as far as possible from drug to lead a happy life.
